JLG Telehandlers Wisconsin
John L. Grove chose to stop working after spending numerous years working along with his brother to build their crane manufacturing business into a world leader. John and his wife Cora celebrated their retirement by going on a cross-country journey utilizing their R.V. After that trip, JLG Industries, Inc. emerged and became the world's top producer of mobile aerial work platforms and specialized material handling machinery.
Throughout the R.V. trip, John spent a lot of the time talking to prior business associates who the Groves stopped to visit along their journey. When they were visiting the Hoover Dam, sadly, 2 employees were accidentally electrocuted on scaffolding. Through subsequent conversations, John discovered a big untapped market for a kind of equipment which can quickly and safely hoist people into the air to be able to perform maintenance and construction functions.
John decided to take action when John and his wife returned from the journey. He began a partnership with two dear friends when they bought a small metal fabrication company in McConnellsburg, Pennsylvania. During 1970, with an initial crew of 20 workers, the trio built and sold the first JLG aerial work platform. Numerous components of the basic design elements of that very first machinery are still being integrated into the current machinery
The company has come a very long way since John L. Grove came back into town from his cross-country journey and have grown significantly ever since they debuted their first aerial work platform. Even nowadays, JLG continues to expand into additional worldwide markets. Numerous innovative machines are designed to help clients be more effective and work safer.
JLG has remained dedicated to being at the forefront of the business. The company takes operator comfort into consideration really seriously. They try to deliver in overall comfort and safety, as well as in performance so that the driver could be as effective as possible.
