Peiner Construction Cranes Wisconsin

Peiner Construction Cranes Wisconsin

SMAG is a German corporation and global leader in the design and manufacture of Peiner Buckets and Grapples. Our production line consists of mechanical motor grabs, hydraulic lifting equipment, electro-hydraulic motor grabs, a range of other kinds of specialized lifting equipment and single rope radio control grabs.

Peiner has made and sold over 75,000 units for the global market. Peiner's unique grabs could handle a wide array of materials and products such as cement, iron ores, coke, fertilizers, refuse and scrap. Our years of experience in the overall designing process and in developing excellent products helps to allow our client's be given the proven technology their diverse applications require.

SMAG/Peiner has been represented by Peiner USA, Inc. for over twelve years within the US market place. Different businesses like for example Scrap Handling, Steel Mills, Waste to Energy, Bulk Transfer Facilities as well as numerous other material handling facilities are now using our buckets and grabs to do their tasks.

The design philosophy at Peiner has continually revolved around delivering grabs that deal with the biggest volume of material vs. grab dead weight. The typical handling ratio for Peiner buckets and grabs is about 60/40, meaning material dead weight of 60 percent versus grab dead weight of 40 percent. This translates into moving greater quantities of materials quicker. The wear and tear on the crane structure and its related components is less. Through a combination of manufacturing with high quality materials and innovative design, the weight ration which is required is obtained.

Grab sizes would range from 1 cubic yard or less to over 50 cubic yards in order to meet the requirements of the client. In addition, Peiner USA Inc. provides a complete service facility and spare parts facility for the models purchased within the USA, as well as the addition of new grabs and buckets.
