Types
Clark manufactures a range of forklift trucks like cushion trucks, narrow aisles and pneumatic trucks. The various types vary in terms of the way they run. For example, heavy-duty forklifts used for agriculture and construction run on an internal combustible engine. Narrow aisle types designed to be used in warehouses and various other confined spaces are powered by rechargeable battery.
Lifting Capacity
Based on the kind of Clark forklift trucks, the lifting capacity can differ. Forklifts that are battery-powered have a range from 1100-3000 kilograms, which depends on the model. For a greater capacity range, the internal combustion or IC models are recommended. They can carry from 1400-8000 kilograms.
Engine
AC batteries, either 36 volt or 48 volt, are used to power Clark electric forklift trucks. The internal combustible engine types have 52 to 100 horsepower engines. The IC models have automatic transmission with single-speed, two-speed or three-speed types.
Frame/Cab
The frame/cab assembly is in the center of the forklift and consists of overhead protective cover for the operator, the seat and controls. The frame consist of the fuel tank, engine, transmission, trans-axle and wheels.
