End Control Forklifts
AC stand-up end control forklift trucks are well known in the material handling industry for their great flexibility. These machinery have superior performance characteristics which are somewhat like sit-down electric lift truck units.
Ideally, these forklift truck models are suited for warehousing operation environments that have limited space. Their working aisle requirements are often less than those required of a three-wheel electric forklift truck. These machines are an excellent alternative for applications which need regular on and off access, since their stand-up design is an exceptional feature.
The reach truck is a loading equipment utilized by a variety of companies which maintain a storage facility that involves the arrangement of finished products on pallets and materials which are stored or stacked into tall shelving compartments. The reach truck offers safe and simple retrieval of the loaded pallets. It is also an excellent choice for those who prefer to store pallets of goods they do not need for immediate use in an efficient and safe way.
All standard reach truck models would have an out-rigging mechanism secured to the front of the equipment. Telescoping blades are mounted to the out-rigging and could move up and down. The blades additionally have a hydraulic system which enables the operator to pick up the load and move it over the out-riggers. This design not only gives a lot more balance to the overall load, but makes it very easy for the reach truck to maneuver into narrow aisles between the storage shelves.
When the reach truck finds the shelves that are designated for the pallet, the hydraulics enable the blades to swing into position and lower the pallet into the shelving, sliding the pallet into position. Normally, a reach truck would easily fit into an aisle which is less than 10 feet wide with no trouble, so long as there are no other pallets protruding out from the shelving area.
