Never let anyone on a forklift who isn't trained to utilize the forklift. Your business should develop and post in a visible place all forklift safety measures.
Rather than going through training because employees are required to, they should have a positive attitude in doing so. You as the employer must help workers understand the significance of correct training. Let them realize that they can injure or kill not just themselves, but other individuals, if they make mistakes. It is up to you to make sure that your employees go through training seriously.
