Engineered for Safety
Yale has a great history for offering safe lift trucks which are suitable for a range of uses. The ability to design and make units for enhanced safety comes from the new technology which is available in the material handling industry and the company's experience.
Yale likes to incorporate new technology that is available into their newest designs. Some of the new technologies which are on the market are first applied to forklift trucks and then later proven further through durability testing and functionality. The company conducts many reliability development and controlled field tests so as to ensure their products are really safe.
So as to enhance overall safety, Yale has engineered and developed a lot of new features, which have been incorporated on many models like:
Operator Compartment Ergonomics and Controls
The ergonomics in the operator compartment as well as the controls are made with state-of-the-art technology. These designs help to ensure that the operator avoids heavy repetitive motions as well as fatigue. These added comforts help to increase overall efficiency.
Adjustable Operators Compartment and Controls
Adjustable operator controls enable the operators to choose the positioning of their necessary controls. This helps make the machine user friendly, regardless of who is utilizing it. Before beginning their shift, the operator could make certain he or she is as comfortable as possible.
Operator Presence System
The Operator Presence System prevents the hydraulic system operation from being utilized if the operator is not in the correct operating position. This presence system also disables directional travel on trucks that have IC engines.
Swing-Out LPG Tank Bracket
The drop-down design brings the LPG tank out from the protected center of the truck and down to the natural handling position of the operator making the tank easier to change.
