Articulating Booms - Bi-Energy and Electric
The Genie DC and Bi-Energy equipment manufactured by Terex provide quiet and emission-free operation in the most sensitive work applications. Like for example, in industrial environments where the machinery needs to travel significant distances, the Genie bi-energy system combines the advantages and flexibility of a diesel fueled generator with a 48 Volt DC machinery.

Key features which this combination offers is up, over and out positioning capabilities for complete flexibility. Furthermore, the zero tail-swing provided by nearly all units, combined with the tight turning radius offers easy maneuvering through narrow aisles and standard doors.

The proportional and drive controls provide the machine with precise boom positioning and smooth drive performance. For emission free and quiet operation suitable for sensitive settings, there is a 48V DC electric drive system. There are jib boom models on the market to function with an additional working range for specific jobs. On non-jib models, there is a self-leveling platform which rotates 90 degrees to either side.

Articulating Booms - Diesel Engine
The Terex Genie is ideal for outdoor construction applications and industrial applications. This particular model offers engine-powered articulating Z booms that combine extreme lifting versatility and out, over and up positioning capabilities. The outreach provided by this model is the best in the market.

The diesel engines with articulating booms offer zero tail-swing on the majority of models and have a tight turning radius. These equipment are great for maneuvering in confined locations. Additionally, they provide excellent torque, grade and terrain maneuverability and supreme power. The diesel engines are generally quiet as well. The majority of models have full time drive positive drive traction system and active oscillating axle to provide great flexibility on rough and uneven surfaces.

The 2 or 4 wheel drive models, provide the rough terrain features and high ground clearance which make these desirable to add to any fleet. The jib boom types are available and provide extra range capabilities. On non-jib types, the self-leveling platform also rotates to 90 degrees on these models as well.
